I am a PhD candidate in Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. I am trained in applied microeconomics and interdisciplinary research methods.

My research is in the areas of Political Economy, Development Economics, Labor, and Demography. I study the interplay of natural resources, institutions, and security in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Sahel.
